Ricoh Stays Ahead with Host of BLI Awards

Just this week Ricoh announced that it had been awarded a total of 16 new Winter Awards from Buyers Laboratory (BLI). These industry awards highlight the key strengths in Ricoh’s range of multifunctional devices.
Ricoh is one of Midshire’s key photocopier and printer partners. As a result, Midshire is the top supplier of Ricoh products in the Midlands region.
BLI is the ‘world’s leading independent provider of analytical information and services to the digital imaging and document management industry.’
This yeah Ricoh won the most prestigious award for A3 MFP; being named the 2015 A3 MFP Line of the Year. BLI tests all products thoroughly during two-month assessments. BLI commented on the reliability of the Ricoh products, with a misfeed rate of just ten in 1.75 million impressions.
Also noted was the productivity of the machines. BLI commented that Ricoh multifunctional devices consistently ‘outperformed the competition’ when printing the stream test.
A further accolade was awarded for A3 MFP Line of the Year for Energy Efficiency. The award was based on yearly energy consumption. The tested Ricoh products ranged from 39 to 76 percent below the competitive average. Testing highlighted that the exceptional energy efficiency does not impede on the productivity of the machines. Many recover from sleep mode faster than the average time.
