Kit Sponsor of Stockport County Community Foundation
Midshire is pleased to confirm that we will be sponsoring Stockport County Community Foundation’s training kit for the upcoming season.
Stockport County Community Foundation is a component of Stockport County Football Club, and works in the local community to engage youngsters with sport and other activities.
The Foundation is a registered charity and has been in existence since 1992. It is completely self-funded, and does not rely on the football club for financial support. Their work is carried out in the Stockport, Tameside and High Peak areas.
As a sponsor, Midshire is committed to supporting the Foundation with their work in the community. The Community Foundation has recently finished their summer coaching and outreach programme. Over one hundred young people attended the final event. Since last October the Foundation has worked with over 18,000 children.
Furthermore, the foundation continues to back disability football in the East Cheshire area. The Community Foundation’s Disability Officer Jordan Raynes said:
“The I Count league is something everyone at the football club and the Community Foundation is extremely proud of. This enables us to work in Partnership with the Cheshire FA to give approximately 80 disabled adults the opportunity to play regular football which is fantastic for everyone connected with the leagues.”
The Community Foundation sponsored kit has been produced with our newly branded logo, and this is one of the first opportunities to see our new company branding, which will be officially launched later this month. Look out for our new look delivery vans around the region.
Midshire Northern is committed to supporting local organisations in the north west region. We already sponsor Thunder Netball Club and Macclesfield Town Juniors. We are also hoping to add to this list in the near future.
Midshire Sales Manager Nick Rose said,
“ We are delighted to be sponsoring Stockport County Community Foundation’s training kit. Midshire is always keen to support local Stockport businesses and sports teams. This sponsorship adds to our growing list. The Foundation does a lot of good work in the community, and we hope this continues to be a success.”
We will be supporting the Community Foundation over the coming year and look forward to working with the Foundation to promote its good work.
