Midshire launches Google Business View with Bellyflop TV
Office technology sales and service provider Midshire has opened its doors to Google, with the help of local video production company Bellyflop TV.
An extension of Google’s Street View technology, ‘Business View’ allows visitors to not only see the building and businesses on a particular street, but invites them to step inside and take a virtual tour of a company’s premises.
Bellyflop Producer and Director Jonathan Robinson explains “As a Google certified partner, Bellyflop uses high-definition photographic technology to create a series of photos, which when pieced together produces a virtual and interactive 360-degree tour of a company’s premises. We have to adhere to very strict production quality standards to ensure we meet the expectations set by Google.”
Filmed over a weekend in October, the tour was then pieced together and is now live on Google. Visitors can now explore Midshire’s Stockport office from the comfort of their computer or mobile, see inside the technology showroom, navigate its offices, and take a walk around the extensive warehouse and newly refurbished workshop.
Midshire’s Group Marketing Manager, Adrienne Topping comments: “We are really proud of our growth and development, so being able to invite customers, suppliers and visitors inside our business to see what we are all about is very exciting!
“We’ve worked with Jonathan and Bellyflop previously, so we were delighted to commission him and his company to produce the tour for us.
“There are many reasons we looked at doing a Google Business View. We wanted to increase our online visibility and traffic through our Google My Business Page, Google Maps and our website, but the tour is also a great way for people to really get a feel for Midshire, how we work and for us to demonstrate our transparent and friendly approach.”
The company directors are so happy with the outcome, that Midshire has already invited Jonathan to produce a Business View for its premises in West Bromwich, with filming planned for early 2017.
Bellyflop TV provides engaging photography and video production for both businesses and consumers and has created over 1,600 films to date.
Bellyflop Producer and Director Jonathan Robinson concludes: “We were thrilled that Midshire chose us to film their Business View. It’s always good to be able to work with and help local businesses to achieve their goals.”
