Midshire Assist Samsung Software Development

A market leading office technology sales and service provider further cement their status as one of Samsung’s most trusted business partners.

The Group’s Telecommunications division led by Managing Director, Jim Callaghan were involved in field testing of a beta software version for the successful OfficeServ 7000 telephone system range.

Midshire’s collaboration with Samsung in the UK and Korea resulted in the new software being successfully released and available to all of Samsung’s customers.

Midshire have been a Samsung Platinum Service Partner since 2012 and are one of only five in the UK to hold Platinum Service status. This ensures Midshire can provide customers with the best-value telecommunication solutions and the highest levels of customer service and support.

Dave Thompson, Engineering Manager at Midshire, explained: “With new innovative ways of working with telephone systems and the demand for integrating them with other services, there are some challenges to make sure they operate effectively across platforms. We are passionate about making sure that these technologies work right first time, so as a trusted Platinum Service partner of Samsung we can test new solutions prior to public release.”

Operations Director, Simon Lister, said “It is re-assuring for our customers to realise that not only do we have the skill to identify and resolve faults on systems today, but that we are already prepared for tomorrow’s challenges.”

The Midshire Group has seen several years of unprecedented growth and success, and are due to relocate its headquarters to a larger site in West Bromwich later in the year.
