Midshire Certified as a Microsoft Education Partner
Full-service office technology and IT solutions provider Midshire is delighted to reaffirm its partner status with Microsoft, through its Authorized Education Partner (AEP) programme.
The AEP program is designed to train resellers like Midshire, on Microsoft’s Academic licensing, authorising them to purchase and resell Microsoft licenses to schools and academies and demonstrate to potential customers that they are approved and knowledgeable academic partners.
Midshire has undertaken and successfully passed Microsoft’s competency test in academic licensing and market expertise. Members of the IT departments from Midshire’s Stockport and West Bromwich offices have completed the necessary assessment to become fully qualified in the AEP programme.
Stephen Pettitt, IT Solutions Specialist for Midshire comments,
“Understanding licensing can be tricky, with many schools not getting the best out of the licensing that they have, or even knowing what is available. At Midshire we will work closely with you, helping you to recognise the benefits that Microsoft licensing can provide to your institution.”
Already supplying over 4,000 schools across the UK, Midshire provides an extensive range of products and services, including, photocopiers and printers, managed print services, telecommunications, IT equipment, hosted desktop and IT support. Midshire is committed to providing the highest quality service to its customers, whilst also meeting a school’s evolving needs.
As an AEP, Midshire has access to key information about new products and events as well as new tools and resources.
Anthony Salcito, vice president of Education for Microsoft Corp.’s Worldwide Public Sector comments on making the grade as a partner,
“By becoming AEPs, partners show themselves to be committed and trained in providing discounted Microsoft academic products to the education market.
This authorisation, along with our other education partner initiatives, gives our partners recognition of their areas of expertise and our academic customers the confidence that they are buying from academic IT specialists.”
Midshire has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team of IT specialists, who work closely with schools and education establishments to supply the latest equipment and bespoke solutions, working in-line their budgets and timescales.
Midshire offers all education establishments a free IT audit to assess their current IT infrastructure and suggest areas for improvement.
