Posted on

Grimm and Co is a Rotherham based charity aiming to inspire young people with creative writing workshops.

The upcoming Story Festival is likely to be an excellent event. Being held between the 4th and 16th August the event is open to all children completely free of charge.

Grimm and Co Director, Deborah Bullivant comments:

‘Grimm & Co, a new charity for young people in Yorkshire, was thrilled to receive our new all-singing-all-dancing photocopying machine from Midshire in time for our family story festival in sunny Rotherham. All families are welcome to our free story festival – please look us up on facebook or twitter #GrimmAndCo to see what’s happening each day from 4th August to 16th August.  Contact info@grimmandco.co.uk

For adults, Grimm and Co is holding a Writers’ Attic event. Andrew McMillan, award winning poet and Liverpool John Moores University lecturer is hosting the Writers’ Attic event on, Monday 4th August. The event is taking place at Corporation Street, Rotherham between 7 and 9.30pm.  There will be an open slot, so anyone wishing to read is encouraged to bring along and present whatever you feel. To reserve a slot or seat for the free event please RSVP to info@grimmandco.co.uk

Grimm and Co is going from strength to strength, and will be opening a shop in the coming months. Deborah explains:

‘We’re setting up a fantastical story centre at the back of an olde apothecary where you can genuinely buy your gifts for any magical being you know.  So if you know a fairy whose birthday is coming up soon or if you, yourself, are a bit of a wizard keep looking for our website launch in October and our shop opening soon after.’

James Ruthven, Midshire Account Manager commented,

‘Grimm and Co is a lovely organisation, who I have worked with recently to provide a bespoke printing solution. I wish them every success with the launch of their new shop later in the year.’
