You can use DocQmanager to allow them to print the job directly to the print room where it will be stored in it's current layout and format until the print room technician decides on the best machine for the job. A simple drag and drop to the products print queue and the job will be produced exactly as the user intended.

Add in the job ticketing function and your users get to choose exactly how they want their print job to be produced without ever leaving their desks. A customisable electronic job ticket pops up on screen, the user fills in the details on screen and submits the job. The repro technician receives the ticket and know exactly what to do with the job and how to apply finishing etc.
The user recieves a receipt and also gets an email, completely automatically when the job has been printed and is ready for collection.
You can run all of your print room machines from one central workstation removing the requirements for multiple PC's and Macintosh computers and retain full control of what gets printed and when.
