Riso HC5500 Takes Education Sector by Storm

Over recent years the challenge of bringing full colour prints/ copies into the classroom has been impossible without using up a large portion of the schools resources budget.

Riso UK in conjunction with Midshire Business Systems have long had a tradition of supplying   traditional black and white copy printers which offer acceptable copy quality at an acceptable copy cost to schools.

The new HC5500 mirrors the same principle with a full colour machine offering full colour A4 copies/prints at 1.5pence and black and white at less than half a penny.

This is less than a quarter of the cost of producing colour copies on a traditional MFP.

At these prices copies/prints that would normally have been produced on more expensive laser printers, or even outsourced to local print firms can be produced on theHC5500 and at a print speed of 120 copies/prints per minute, jobs which would have taken hours to produce on an MFP can be run off in a matter of minutes and can be finished to a high standard.

The use of colour in the classroom is proven to dramatically improves the efficiency of worksheets, especially in schools where English may be a second language to many of the pupils. Colour improves the communication process, holds attention and makes the printed material easier to understand.

Added to all this the Riso Hc5500 is the green solution as it uses 85% less energy than a traditional mfp or printer and emits no heat or fumes.

All in all the Riso Hc5500 is the answer to a long standing problem for the education sector and is proving to be a huge benefit to schools that have embraced the product.
